Dear Friends and Family,

This year is a significant milestone for us as twins: Lisa and I are turning 50 in August. However, instead of celebrating this special occasion as we imagined, our lives have been shaken by a devastating diagnosis. Lisa has been diagnosed with stage 3 Triple Negative Breast Cancer compounded by the BRCA2 gene mutation.

Triple Negative Breast Cancer is aggressive and challenging to treat, and the added complication of the BRCA2 gene mutation means that Lisa faces an even tougher battle ahead. As you can imagine, this news has been incredibly difficult for our entire family including her two boys Ty & Kyle. Lisa is always there for others with her warmth, generosity, and infectious laughter. If you have the pleasure of knowing my sister than you know she is funny, fun to be with and always up for an adventure.

Currently, Lisa is undergoing intense treatments including chemotherapy, surgery, and radiation. The road ahead is long but with your support, we are determined to help Lisa fight this with all our strength.

While Lisa focuses on her treatment and recovery, the financial burden is weighing heavily on her. Medical bills, specialized treatments, everyday expenses, insurance deductibles and other unforeseen expenses are adding up quickly. As her twin sister and best friend, I am reaching out to you for help. Your donation, no matter how small, will make a meaningful impact on Lisa's journey to healing. It will alleviate some of the financial stress, allowing her to concentrate on what truly matters—beating cancer.

In addition to supporting Lisa, we want to contribute to the broader fight against cancer. Therefore, 1% of all proceeds from this campaign will be donated to cancer research organizations dedicated to finding a cure for triple negative breast cancer and improving the lives of those affected by this disease.
