Lisa, a.k.a. "Maus," has one of the most giving hearts and would never ask anyone for anything. That's why we are asking for your help on her behalf. Years ago, Lisa was diagnosed with severe spinal stenosis and degenerative scoliosis. She suffers with debilitating back pain and numbness to her right leg. This also affects her balance and she has fallen numerous times. To relieve her worsening symptoms, her doctor is recommending an L3-4 right-sided decompression and foraminotomy. This surgery will be performed in Kansas City on July 31st. We are asking for your help to cover medical expenses, travel/hotel expenses, and expenses to keep up her yard and home. She will not be able to perform routine tasks like mowing or cleaning for quite some time as she recovers.
Lisa has touched the lives of many in the Maize community and beyond. Her passions are sports, her grandkids, local athletes, and photography. Most know that Maus loves taking and sharing her pictures. Together, we can help make this surgery and recovery a little easier for her so she can get back out there doing what she loves! We appreciate any prayers and well wishes. If you are in a position to help financially, it would be extremely helpful. Thank you all!
With gratitude,
Jenny, Cassie, and Loni
