Hey friends and family, I am writing this on behalf of my mother, Lisa Whitney, who will be the beneficiary of this fundraiser.

Her husband, John, has unfortunately passed away early this morning, after a long battle with health issues. They have had a long and loving marriage for over 30 years, in which they shared a daughter, and two children from a previous marriage. John was a hard worker, from everything to circuit board plating, food service management, and even becoming a small business owner; his dream. John was an avid outdoorsman; when he lost the use of his legs, it drained the joy out of him.

However, he did not have any life insurance or savings, leaving us to worry about service expenses. If anyone feels inclined to help, it would be greatly appreciated as we don’t even know where to begin.
