Support Lisa Turner's Battle with Breast Cancer
Donation protected
Our dear friend Lisa Turner, Elko local Mother, Friend, and Realtor has a great need coming in this next chapter. She is battling Breast Cancer and needs our community's help and support in this time! Today December 2nd she is in surgery for her mastectomy and axillary lymph node dissection, and we want to ask that if you feel so inclined you might support her and her 3 children in any way you can in covering her medical expenses as well as possible living expenses as we don't know what recovery will look like in the coming year.
She lost her Mom to cancer earlier this year, then her beloved family dog Bella. She’s walked with her nearest and dearest friends through their darkest of seasons this year. She became a single Mom, saw her daughter off to college, restarted her career. And quietly walked alongside her nearest and most beloved friends for the last 3/4 months, she discovered this new battle with her own cancer diagnosis. We love our friend and she’s faced with many uncertainties and unknowns based on pathology reports and more. She is deeply appreciative of the care, understanding, and generosity of her work family, Braemar Construction ,these past few months. Now, faced with possibly not being able to work consistently for some time. She will be out of work for a month to recover from her surgery, as well as navigating work with having to travel to Salt Lake City almost daily for chunks of time as she goes through Chemotherapy and Radiation. This will help her care for her children in this season and make it so she can focus on healing and getting back to full health.
With deepest gratitude from Lisa, her children, and those who love her, we ask that you donate to help us reach our goal, share this link, and pray for Lisa and her children during this time.
Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
