Lisa is a breast cancer survivor and single parent of three who now has a brain tumor. She is facing brain surgery soon, and then she will need 6+ weeks of recovery at home, during which she cannot work.

The cost of the surgery will be at least $100,000, and Lisa will need to cover 20% of it. With her lost wages, she could easily need $30,000 to get through the next two months.

Lisa has been a wonderful member of my remote work team for many years. We are all too far away to help her in person, but we want to support her the way she has supported our team.

She would never ask for herself, but we have a goal of helping her with lost wages, surgery expenses, and keeping the family going while she recuperates.
