Support Lisa Thompson's Road to Recovery

Hello! My name is Lisa Thompson. I am an over-the-road truck driver. On the 17th of November, I pulled into a TA truck stop in Florence, Kentucky, to park for the night. I got short of breath and ended up calling an ambulance, which brought me to St. Elizabeth's Hospital in Edgewood, Kentucky. I had to have a triple bypass because there was a tear in my aorta. I am a long way from home. The doctors were concerned about letting me travel so far, so I am still in the hospital.

Due to the circumstances, everything has fallen behind as far as bills at home. And even though I have some insurance, the hospital bills will soon start coming in. I'm eager to get released from the hospital on the 30th to go home. But I haven't worked for over a month, and I will be off work until I can pass a coronary stress test and pulmonary test to satisfy the DOT. I just need a little help to get through until I can get back to work.
