Hi, my name is Noah, and I’m reaching out on behalf of my mother, Lisa Sweetman.
Earlier this year, my mother went in for gallbladder surgery, which led us to the point this week where my mother underwent a liver transplant — this procedure gave her a second chance at life. While we are incredibly grateful that the surgery was successful, the journey to full recovery is far from over. The emotional, physical, and financial toll this experience has taken on the family has been immense.
If you know my mother well, you know she has always been the kind of person to put others' needs before hers. Whether it was helping a co-worker, serving her community, serving at church, caring for family, or lending a hand to a friend in need, she’s touched many lives with her kindness and strength.
I would love to be able to help relieve some of the financial burden off of my parents, so they can recover with more peace of mind.
Post-transplant recovery comes with many unexpected expenses — including costly anti-rejection medications, frequent hospital visits, follow-up procedures, and time off work to heal. These costs are quickly adding up, and insurance only covers a portion.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for taking the time to read Lisa’s story and support her during this critical time.
With gratitude,
Noah Sweetman
