Lisa’s battle with stage 4 liver failure

My name is Sarah Schuckman, myself and my sisters Brooke Senior and Amanda Tournear are trying to help our parents in one of the hardest times of their lives. Our mother, Lisa Schuckman, was diagnosed with stage 4 liver failure from a genetic condition. In the fall of 2023, her condition became severe rapidly. She had to retire from working and almost all daily life activities. Our dad, Greg, has had to retire to take care of her full-time as well.

We almost lost our mother multiple times this year already. She has been life flighted to Chicago, been through countless procedures, hospital stays and appointments. Our parents were raised in a generation where you figure things out and don’t ask for help but they are in a great time of need.

Our only hope is for our mom to find a liver while on the transplant list. All donations will go to their countless medical bills and cost of traveling back and forth and staying in Chicago for her appointments and during her transplant. Thank you everyone for your support.
