Support Lisa Reed's Memorial Service

We are heartbroken to share the passing of our mom, Lisa Kay Reed, who was an incredible woman and inspiration to all who knew her. She was a true force of nature—smart, brave, and strong—and dedicated her life to fighting for what was right. Whether being an advocate or standing against injustice, she made sure to always use her voice to make a difference. She had a love for God, and her life was built on faith, kindness, and love for others.

She had an ever-expanding list of passions. She enjoyed a little bit of everything, from genealogy (she was ALWAYS working on something!) to sewing, crocheting, and scrapbooking. She loved language, Hebrew, piano, singing, and studying.. anything! If you ever wanted to kidnap her, you could probably do it with the promise of a Route 44 Coke from Sonic!

Above all, she was a devoted mother, grandmother, and friend who cherished her family. She spent her life nurturing her children, doting on her grandchildren, and building a legacy of love and support.

She fought an incredibly long and difficult battle against lymphoma. Throughout her illness, she never gave up. She was an inspiration to everyone with her unwavering positivity, strength, and faith—even when the odds were stacked against her. She held on as long as she could until her body could do no more. She is now peaceful and pain free in Heaven.

Now, as we prepare to lay her to rest, we are asking for donations to help with the costs of cremation and memorial expenses. Any amount will help us honor her memory and give her the peaceful rest she truly deserves. Thank you for your love, support, and kindness during this difficult time.

Also, if possible, please share a short and sweet story on her Facebook of how you met!! She had an incredible amount of loving friendships throughout her life, some 40+ years and some she only knew through Facebook. I think it is just an amazing testimony to how much of an awesome human she was!! I have enjoyed reading from so many so far!
