Support Lisa Parks: A Hero in Need

UPDATE; Lisa had a fall when she was in the hospital, & has a concussion, which is making her recovery that much harder. Recently, Lisa was attempting to drive to therapy, & was in an auto accident, & her attempt to try to work again, has proven to be a fatal flaw. Lisa's ok after the auto accident, & she at this time realizes she needs to take a huge step back & worry about her own health for once. I know Lisa, & her sense of dedication to all that she helps, & I know this decision to step away from her daily rituals is weighing heavy on her. Please continue to help her in any way that you can. As well as financial help, she will need volunteers to help her get to doctors appointments as well. Any & all help is deeply appreciated, please continue to share this post as well. This is my best friend Lisa Parks. Lisa has recently had a stroke as most already know from Facebook, but I wanted to take the time to reflect on how great a person she is!!! Lisa does things for so many people, & volunteers her time for so many different charities, she literally gives until it hurts, & still pushes onward, without complaint. Lisa has driven for 12 hours to rescue animals in need, she volunteers for veterans organizations, she's a volunteer at her local fire department, where in all her spare time (that's sarcasm) has managed to get herself elected secretary of the fire house, on top of her job at Mission BBQ, where she's enjoyed throwing parties for Vets, & first responders. Through Mission BBQ she has managed to give free food to just about every Police department, hospital, & fire companies all over Delco. I can't tell you how many people she's taken into her home when they had nowhere to go, including myself.

Now Lisa needs help!!! This recent stroke will be slowing her down not just temporarily, but I'm sure she will need to slow her role now, & maybe not move around as much as she use to. Please help the woman who has helped so many others, I'm sure many of you who are reading this are amongst the ones she's helped. Let's show Lisa Parks the love.
