Lisa Orris-Jankiewicz, 59, of Upland, California, passed away on January 18, 2025, after battling multiple autoimmune diseases for several years. Lisa was born in Pomona, California, on August 6, 1965, and was preceded in death by her parents, Scott D. and Dorothy M. Orris. She is survived by her sister, Jennifer Orris, and husband, Patrick Jankiewicz. There are no children.
She attended Pomona Catholic High School and Chaffey College, where she studied photography. She was a published photographer and also worked at Claremont Camera. She worked with the nonprofit Sisters of Social Service in Los Angeles, and at Amtec Lighting in Pomona and Sylvania Lighting Company in Pomona.
She had very active social connections and a happy, sunny outlook on life. She loved to go to concerts, dance and sing karaoke. She loved music and had a passion for Rick Springfield, the Beatles and Mike Campbell. She loved “Star Wars” and Harrison Ford. Lisa never knew a stranger and could, and would, talk nonstop if allowed.
Because of her generosity and kind heart, she was deeply loved by everyone who knew her.
There will be a celebration of life.
A rosary will be said.
A mass will be held.
