On August 27, 2025 a mother, grandmother, and beautiful wife, Lisa Lomavaya, suffered a major medical condition and remains under hospital care to this day. We have no anticipated timeframe of her ability to return home, so for now we wait patiently as she continues to heal. We are optimistic and hoping for a full recovery. Until then medical, travel, and household expenses are starting to add up, and it is time to reach out for financial assistance.
Lisa is Spider clan from the Village of Tewa. Together, we have four children and one grandchild, all of whom she loves and cares for very much. As many people know Lisa is a vibrant person, always smiling, laughing, sharing positive words of encouragement, and offers her support to people and organizations throughout Hopi and Tewa communities. Her work as the Public Relations Officer at our local Hopi Health Care Center has been impactful as she leads several employee, local youth-education and community projects. She has always been active in her community belonging to several local organizations such as the Hopi Tewa Women's Coalition to End Abuse and the Miss Hopi Committee.
We understand these are trying times, and so we humbly appreciate any consideration of monetary support, any amount will be appreciated.
Sharing this post is equally appreciated.
