Dear friends and family,

I am reaching out to you today with a heavy heart and a plea for help. My older sister, Lisa, recently suffered a tragic accident while trimming branches in our yard. She fell from a 16-foot ladder and hit one of the rungs of the ladder, resulting in a severe chance fracture in her lower back vertebrae. This devastating injury required immediate and complex spinal surgery.

Lisa is a vibrant and strong individual who has always been there for others. Whether it’s lending a hand, offering a shoulder to lean on, or spreading joy with her infectious smile, she has touched the lives of many. Now, she needs our support more than ever.

The surgery was successful, but the road to recovery is long and arduous. She faces months of rehabilitation, physical therapy, and medical appointments. The medical bills are overwhelming, and despite having insurance, the out-of-pocket expenses are substantial.
