Lisa Davis is a mother of 3 children and 1 grandchild, and on June 20th, she received some devastating news. Lisa was diagnosed with breast cancer. By July 31st, she was in surgery to have a double mastectomy with very little time to process what was happening to her body.

Lisa’s reconstruction surgery didn’t go as planned due to underlying gastrointestinal issues, which caused her levels to go up and down, adding even more medications. This is taking a toll on her body and causing brain fog, which makes work very difficult.

Lisa lives with and takes care of her elderly mother. Although she has been working for the government, in a job that is on the chopping block, for the past 3 years, she has had to take months off work for her surgery, treatment, and recovery. In order to not lose her job and to try and tackle the mound of medical bills that are now piling up, she has had to go back to work earlier than planned, which has been emotionally and physically draining.

In very little time, Lisa has become overwhelmed with medical bills from multiple doctors and hospitals, and her health insurance plan has not covered much, so she is left responsible for paying them.

Lisa’s friends and family are humbly asking for donations to help Lisa pay down her medical bills and ease some of the financial pressure caused by this horrible disease.
