Lisa Carter has spent her life caring for others as a dedicated Registered Nurse at Mercy Medical Center in Redding. Now, she needs our support.

After being diagnosed with cancer, Lisa underwent an incredibly difficult surgery where her jaw bone was replaced using bone from her leg. She has since endured radiation and chemotherapy, showing remarkable strength and resilience through every step of this journey. Recently, her health took a serious turn, and she has been hospitalized for the past 7 days as she continues to fight and recover.

Lisa has been unable to work since July 2025, and the financial strain from ongoing medical treatments, daily expenses, and loss of income has begun to weigh heavily. Beyond her career, Lisa is a devoted mother to her son and someone known for her humor, kindness, and generosity — the kind of person who would truly give the shirt off her back to help someone in need.
