Hi everyone, my name is Zoe and I have started this gofundme on behalf of my mother Lisa Burd.

Behind the scenes for the last 4 years my mom has been hit with a whirlwind of health issues. To say it’s been a long road is an understatement- strokes, heart surgery, blood clots, counts of pneumonia, cancer, seizures, and more have landed her with some very long and scary medical stays to include a 29 day ICU stay with no health insurance.

Lisa Burd is a wife, mother, and grandmother who has dedicated her life to her family and her community. She has built her career in healthcare for over 30 years. While dealing with her own health she has continued to juggle her medical career to keep ends met. Though as you can imagine the bills continue to grow and have surpassed $300,000, and soon to be more as she is currently in the hospital again due to a seizure which lead to a broken shoulder and an uncontrollable internal bleed.

While she and her wife have done everything in their power to keep things together it’s grown beyond what’s manageable.

At this time we’re asking for help from our loved ones and community.
