On Friday, April 23rd the unthinkable happened. Our beloved Xander passed away suddenly and entirely unexpectedly while at home with his family. He was seventeen years old, working his first job, maintaining his cyber school work load, riding his skateboard as often as possible and setting goals for the future. His future was bright, he had a close-knit group of friends and a devoted family, and his loss has left a tremendous wound on the hearts of all of us who loved him.
I am raising money to help his family cover the extraordinary costs that arise when a tragedy such as this occurs. We all know that we live in a capitalist hell scape, and one of the best ways to give a grieving family the time, tools and space they need to begin to heal enough to approach a new normal is to provide them with the resources to do so. I intend to transfer all funds to Lisa so that she, Viv and David can have a cushion during this time of immense grief. They will use the funds to help cover the costs of funeral arrangements, but also as they see fit, for only they can know what they need to survive these devastating days. 
Tulsa is a wonderful community, Lisa and her kids have always been a mainstay. Please give as you are able, and never stop talking about Xander. His memory will be our saving grace.
