Support Lisa and Richard's Urgent Relocation

Hello. My name is Lisa. My husband Richard and I have two kitties named Argie and Lamont. I never thought we'd have to do this, but we need help. We received eviction notice from our apartment (funny how the landlord has been dodging us about the lease for the past year) . We were told that this is not because we are bad tenants (we always paid on time), but because the landlord wants to rehab the building to charge more rent as our part of town is 'up and coming'. We have been dealing with our landlord for a few months now. He initially agreed to give us to the first of November to find some place and move. We have been looking for places that one we can afford and two would take the cats too. This has not been easy as the rental market around here is horrid and apartments request application fees from anywhere between $25.00-$50.00 a shot. We have been saving money all this time. It has not been much with all the household expenses plus rent. We shot for the end of October as that would give us all the money we'd need for first and last month's rent, pet deposit and movers. Well our landlord pulled a fast one. We are fighting this eviction. We paid rent to him for September, but he is rather unethical and got us off guard with this.We need donations to help with first and last month's rent, security deposits and moving expenses.
