Support Lisa and Evie's Recovery Journey

Hi friends and family. If you know me you know it’s not easy for me to ask for help. This week has been really hard it started last Thursday (5/1/25) when I had to have heart surgery again to fix a 90,75 and 60% blockage in my heart. I am ok and at home recovering but on Saturday (5/3/25) my baby girl Evie was violently sick and aspirated some of her vomit and we had to rush her to the emergency Vet last night.

She has pneumonia in both lungs and has required 24 hour monitoring and oxygen among many other necessary tests to keep her alive. I just got a call from the Vet and she is responding well to the numerous antibiotics they have her on and the oxygen so that’s very good news. This is not just a dog for me but my lifeline. Evie is my diabetic alert dog and has saved my life so many times I cannot count.

I have filled out forms for some financial help thru the emergency vet but as you all know it’s very expensive and the financial help available will not cover all of the treatment necessary that she needs. Please if you are able to help I will be forever grateful to you.
