It's with a heavy heart to share that Lionel’s mom, Ming Kwei Alice Gong, has sadly passed away on March 23, 2024 from an unfortunate accident. After a vibrant 67 years of life, she leaves behind her beloved son, Lionel. As she was an only child and a single mom, Lionel is now left with no familial ties here. To know Lionel, is like to know how it is be treated with unconditional kindness, generosity, and compassion. As he navigates through this immense loss, please help me rally support and love around him.

Lionel has been working diligently to handle his mom's memorial with the utmost respect and to the best of his abilities. As her passing came completely unexpected, the two never talked about her funeral expectations. But upon cleaning out her space, he found a note that she had written years ago with the request to be laid to rest at Rose Hills Memorial Park if she were to pass. After knowing that, he is now honoring her wishes and has set up her memorial at Rose Hills. Her Funeral Service will be held on April 25, 2024.
