In mid July, Linus was diagnosed with Stage 4 of a rare cancer called Ewing’s Sarcoma: though it's rare in kids, it's significantly rarer in adults. We are actively raising funds to support Linus' battle against this cancer, and to get him back to doing the things that he loves: skiing, running, climbing mountains, and enjoying the great outdoors with his friends.
My brother Linus is one of the most extraordinarily kind, funny, brilliant, and caring people I know. If you've been lucky enough to meet him, you know that he's a one-in-a-million sort of person. Whether you know him from skiing or mountain climbing, business class or ultimate frisbee, you know that the world is a better place because of him.
The money we raise will go directly to Linus, his housing, and his care. Cancer is no joke: we'll be moving quickly and with intention. The funds we raise will help us to accomplish that: they'll be used for a variety of purposes, including housing and relocation costs, medical bills, and other things to make Linus' experience more comfortable.
Linus has poured boundless care, kindness, and love into the world and its people. It's time that we pay it back to him, and every little bit helps. It's a team effort, with a very clear rallying cry: we love Linus, and you should too!
