Hi everyone,

I'm creating this on behalf of my brother, Paulino Gomez (Lino), who was recently diagnosed with stage four liver cancer.

The past few weeks have been overwhelming in ways we're still trying to process. Right now, our focus is simple: making sure he has the support and stability he needs as he prepares for treatment and works to regain strength.

Lino is currently undergoing further testing, as doctors have confirmed this is a rare form of liver cancer and are working to determine the best path forward for his treatment.

Lino has always been someone who shows up for others with a caring, genuine heart, always doing what he can to be there for the people around him.

The road ahead is long, uncertain, and will be demanding physically, emotionally, and financially.

Situations like this come with a level of financial pressure we didn’t fully understand until we were in it. Between ongoing care, appointments, time away from work, and daily expenses, it adds up quickly. Our priority is making sure Lino can focus on healing, while we manage everything else around him.

I wanted to create this space for anyone who feels called to support him and help ease some of the weight during this time.
