Support Linnea's Battle for Zachary's life!
Donation protected
On November 17th, Zachary, Linnea’s eldest son, was involved in a tragic accident. As a result, he has been in a coma on life support, suffering from multiple skull fractures and a traumatic brain injury, along with countless other injuries. He is currently receiving care in the ICU in Phoenix, Arizona, which poses a significant challenge for the family. Zachary lives with his mom and stepdad in Lake Stevens, WA, and was visiting family when the accident occurred. The financial strain is already overwhelming for this single income family as Linnea has been in nursing school the past couple years. Linnea and Chad are now incurring the costs of traveling to Phoenix, while having to take time off of work until they get Zach stable and Chad can fly back home. Moreover, they have two other children at home, necessitating travel back and forth between Arizona and Washington.
Once Zach is stable, his family hopes to relocate him to Washington. However, at the moment, this move is deemed not feasible, which means arranging for his medical transport to a rehabilitation facility in Washington will be a very significant expense. As parents, Linnea and Chad need to have their son close by as he begins adjusting to his new normal, whatever that may entail. It's crucial that financial barriers do not prevent Zach from being with his family.
A bit about Zach, for those who don’t know him. He is an 18-year-old who graduated from Lake Stevens High School in 2024, and is known for keeping everyone laughing. He has a passion for drama and participated in several musicals at LSHS. Soccer was another significant part of his life, having played for many years with the Lake Stevens Youth Soccer Club. A true family person, Zach enjoys spending evenings playing board games or cribbage with his family. He shares a close bond with his siblings, Ethan and Hailey, who mean the world to him. Please help this family out in any way possible.
We do ask that you give the family privacy right now as they are focused on Zach, prayers are welcomed.
