Hi, my name is Linn, and I’m reaching out during one of the most difficult times of my life.
I’ve recently been hospitalized due to complications from Huntington’s disease, a progressive, incurable condition that affects the brain and gradually robs me of my physical and mental abilities. I am now in palliative care, focusing on comfort and quality of life as the disease progresses.
Due to my recent hospitalization, I’ve fallen behind on critical expenses. I’m currently unable to afford my rent for this month, and I’m also struggling with the cost of food, transportation, and essential car repairs that help me get to medical appointments.
I’m asking for $500 to help me stay afloat during this incredibly challenging time. Every dollar will go toward:
• Rent and basic living expenses
• Healthy meals to support my care
• Car repairs to ensure I can make it to treatment and appointments
If you can give anything at all—whether it’s $5 or just a share—it would mean the world to me. Living with Huntington’s is hard enough without the fear of losing housing or going without food. Your help would lift a huge weight off my shoulders.
Thank you for reading, supporting, and simply caring.
With gratitude,
Linn
