Gordon Lindon Reilly, known to many as Lindy, is the founder of Lindy's on 4th and a beloved member of the Tucson culinary community. On January 1st, Lindy suffered a ruptured ulcer and was unknowingly bleeding internally, causing a dangerous drop in his blood pressure. He was rushed to the hospital and admitted to the ICU, where he spent three days sedated and on a ventilator to stabilize his condition. Over the following five days, Lindy received 11 blood transfusions to bring his hemoglobin back to a safe level.

As Lindy continues his recovery, he will require home health care and 24/7 monitoring to ensure his hemoglobin returns to normal and to prevent any new complications. This journey has meant significant time away from the restaurant for both Lindy and Shelly, and the medical bills and ongoing care needs are adding up quickly.
