My dear friend Lindy Devries, a lifelong member of the South Haven community, has recently been diagnosed with breast cancer. If you know Lindy, you know she is one of the most selfless people you could ever meet and the first one to help others when in need, whether it be a friend, a stranger, or animal (even squirrels).
Lindy has always been the first to step forward when someone is in need. Whether it’s helping a neighbor, organizing fundraisers, making T-shirts, or volunteering her time to support someone across the globe, she has spent her life lifting others up without ever asking for anything in return. Now it’s our turn to lift her up.
As Lindy begins this unexpected journey through treatment and recovery, we want to help ease the financial burden that comes with medical care and the many unforeseen expenses that accompany a cancer diagnosis. Because Lindy is self-employed, any time she needs to step away from work for treatments or recovery also means lost income.
Lindy has spent years showing up for this community. Let’s show her that South Haven stands with her now. Any donation (big or small) will help support Lindy during treatment and recovery. If you’re unable to donate, sharing this page and keeping her in your thoughts and prayers means just as much. Thank you for helping us surround Lindy with the same kindness, generosity, and love she has always given to others.
