In April, less than a year after her first transplant, Lindsey's follow-up test results began to take a turn for the worse. After several scary weeks her medical team determined that the initial transplant did not graft properly meaning she would have to begin the entire transplant process again.
In June, Lindsey checked in again to the Sarah Cannon Cancer Institute in Nashville. Like last summer she will need to be in the hospital until August and then in Nashville for another 100 days. Again, she will be responsible for all living expenses throughout her stay in Nashville. If you gave last time, THANK YOU. Every penny helped. If you are able to give again, we would very much appreciate it.
From 2024 --
My sister Lindsey has been battling Leukemia since February. After many ups and downs, we are in the final stretch of treatment which includes a stem cell transplant. Though she lives in Huntsville, AL, all of her treatment has taken place in Nashville, TN. This means that after the transplant, she must live in Nashville near the hospital for 3 months.
While insurance has covered much of the cost of the treatment, it will not cover any of the living expenses (housing, transportation, food, etc) while she is in Nashville away from her family in Alabama. Any and all help during this time would be greatly appreciated. From our family to yours, thank you!
