Support Lindsey’s Hospice Journey

Dear friends, family and compassionate strangers,
We are reaching out to ask for support for someone incredibly special, our best friend, Lindsey Clark (Tolopka). If you’ve been following Lindsey’s journey over the last two years, you know that in 2023, she was diagnosed with Glioma, a form of brain cancer. Since then, Lindsey has fought with unimaginable strength and grace. From the beginning, she chose not to focus on the prognosis. What mattered most to her was living fully, cherishing time with her family, and creating lasting memories with her two beautiful daughters.
Watching Lindsey continue to show up for her girls, even while in pain and enduring a rapid decline in mobility, has been nothing short of inspiring. Her mother, Shelley, and her husband, Cat, have cared for her tirelessly, all while caring for her daughters, as well. As Lindsey’s needs have grown, it’s become clear that more intensive care is needed, beyond what can be managed at home.
On Friday, June 27, 2025, Lindsey went in for a check-up and received the news we’ve all quietly been bracing for: it’s time for hospice.
As heartbreaking as it is, we are now preparing for the moment none of us ever wanted to face…saying goodbye to this incredible woman. A mother. A wife. A daughter. A best friend. A light in so many lives.
Lindsey deserves to spend her remaining time surrounded by comfort, dignity, and love. The hospice facility her family has chosen offers just that; a peaceful, compassionate space where Lindsey can be cared for with the tenderness she has always shown others. Sadly, insurance does not cover the tremendous cost of room and board. At a time when they should be focused entirely on soaking up every moment with her, they’re now also faced with a financial burden no family should have to bear alone.
So many of you have reached out and asked how you can help to make sure Lindsey’s final chapter is filled with the comfort and peace that she so deeply deserves. Any bit is helpful. And if you’re not able to give right now, sharing this campaign along with simply lifting her and her family up in prayer, means the world to us.
Lindsey has always been a source of strength, light, and selfless love. She is a living angel and now, she needs us.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for your prayers, your love, and your support during this time.
With love and gratitude,
