Support Lindsey's Healing Journey

We're raising funds for our amazing coworker and friend, Lindsey, a gifted pet groomer at the Animal Hospital whose life dramatically changed after experiencing a medical crisis. She was hospitalized April 18th and went from walking with difficulty to now being unable to walk at all and she's lost function in her arms and hands as well. Most recently she's experienced facial paralysis. After numerous tests, (one being positive for Lyme disease and a spinal tap showing what could be Guillian Barré Syndrome ) doctors are planning a course of action. She's been hospitalized for 40 days and is facing more possibly even months of therapy,treatment and recovery. Then it's an undetermined amount of time undergoing physical therapy both in patient and out patient. Despite this incredibly difficult challenge, Lindsey continues to show strength, courage, and a deep love for animals and the grooming work she does so passionately.

These funds will go towards needs, and ongoing bills.Her most urgent need now is having a handicap ramp built so that once therapy is done she will be allowed to go home. Our goal is to help ease the financial burden so she can focus on healing and rebuilding and returning to the work she dearly loves.

In addition to loving her work, she's the Mother to two adorable sons ages 11 & 7, who are praying for their Mom to come home. Lindsey has always been active and enjoyed the outdoors with her boys, kayaking and horseback riding.
