On May 1st, Lindsey Ford and her family received the devastating news that she has been diagnosed with Stage 4 colorectal cancer that has since spread to her liver and abdominal cavity.

Over the last few months, Lindsey was only experiencing what seemed like minor digestive issues. Since then, everything has changed very quickly. Lindsey started chemotherapy treatments this past Saturday, May 23rd, and is currently receiving inpatient care at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston. While much remains uncertain, including how long she may be unable to work, Lindsey is fighting hard and doing everything in her power to beat the odds.

Lindsey is turning 40 this week on May 29th; she is a devoted mother to her 10-year-old son, Aiden, and wife to her husband. Ryan, is currently balancing full-time work, helping care for Lindsey during her treatment, while also aiming to maintain some level of normalcy for Aiden at home.

Anyone who knows Lindsey knows how outgoing and caring she is. She is funny, community-oriented, and the kind of person who can talk to anyone, anywhere, about anything. She has always been someone who shows up for others, and now we are asking for support for her as she faces the hardest challenge of her life.

This fundraiser is intended to help relieve some of the financial pressure facing Lindsey and her family during treatment.
