Hi, my name is Zander, and my brothers and I are creating this fundraiser for our mom, Lindsey. Recently, our mom received a breast cancer diagnosis that, thankfully, was caught early. While we are grateful for early detection and a hopeful outlook, her treatment plan includes surgery followed by ongoing treatment, including radiation, which will require significant recovery time away from work.

Our mom is an elementary special education teacher in a physically demanding role, working daily with students who require constant attentiveness and quick physical responses. Because of the nature of her job, she will need time away to heal safely and fully before returning. During this period, our family will experience a loss of income alongside ongoing medical, household, and college expenses. In addition to being a devoted teacher, our mom is the steady heart of our family. She remains strong in her faith and is trusting the Lord through this journey, accepting help is not something that comes easily to her.

This fundraiser is being created so she can focus on healing without the added weight of financial stress. Funds raised will help support lost wages during surgery, treatment and recovery, medical and treatment-related expenses, and basic household and college needs while she is unable to work. We believe God often provides through the kindness of others. We are deeply thankful for every prayer, message, share, donation, and for the love and support surrounding our family during this season.
