Support Lindsay's 'Plie Pals' Dance Program

My name is Lindsay, and I work as a special education teacher and dance teacher at Centre of Performing Arts in Graham, NC. A few years ago, I helped a student at my dance studio start a dance program for students with disabilities entitled "Plie Pals". The program gives students the opportunities to dance and move creatively to their own abilities. It gives them chances to dance within the community through different performances. We participate in COPA's studio recital, community performances, and potentially a dance competition. The program is completely free to all special needs students. We have several young volunteers that help the dancers. The students do not pay tuition, costumes, or other fees related to typical dance programs. We have tried to raise money to pay expenses via bake sales and donations. The program has been growing over the last few years, and we would like to see it continue to grow and develop.
