My friend Lindsay McNulty is having a rough time. Her mom has dementia, and about six weeks ago was diagnosed with breast cancer, prompting Lindsey to also get checked. Yesterday Lindsay’s biopsy came back, and she too has breast cancer, in the exact same location as her mom. Lindsay is a single mom with two young daughters under the age of ten, with limited outside support. While she has health insurance, like many others, the deductible is very high and out of pocket total is $9,000. She’ll also be missing work, which will hurt her even further. Any amount will help in covering that out of pocket amount, with hopefully a bit extra to make up for her loss of wages at her job (apt asst manager). If you’re able, please give!
