Support Lindi's Journey to Healing

Hey friends and family. As many of you know, Lindi's been dealing with ovarian cancer since last year. She had surgery last summer and six rounds of chemo into the winter. After nine months and numerous follow-up visits, her latest scans showed that some small "snowflakes" and a couple of nodules had returned.

She was told by her traditional oncologist that surgery wasn't an option and the only path forward would be "chemo maintenance" for the rest of her life. This felt like giving up, since research shows it wears your body down and the cancer becomes more and more immune as the rounds continue. She immediately began looking for something more.

After tons of online research and the advice of some other cancer "thriver" friends, we found the Cancer Center for Healing in Irvine, California. (https://cancercenterforhealing.com)

Because the Center is located out of state, and due to their "integrative" approach, insurance won't cover Lindi's treatments. We've already spent $40,000 out of pocket on testing, doctors appointments, (studied and proven) alternative treatments, and lodging for a month while waiting to see if the low dose chemo would be necessary and/or a good fit.

She begins the 12-week low-dose chemo and treatments, tests, and procedures that support its effectiveness next week.

The weekly cost for the chemo is $5,000.

The weekly cost for other tests and treatments is around $2,500, not including lodging while we're there.

Many of you have asked what you can do to help, and it looks like financial assistance is going to be the best way right now.
