Hi everyone. I (Angelina, eldest daughter) made this fundraiser for my mom Linda who had to undergo unexpected emergency surgery. Around October 12th she went into the hospital with severe back pain that felt like it radiated off her ovaries. Some tests were done and doctors said she had a cyst on her right ovary that was hemorrhaging

and needed to keep an eye on it and follow up with a gyno. A few days went by, another emergency room visit and nothing. A few days ago was when she went back to the emergency room for the third time with face swelling, bad nose bleeds and migraines. The doctors said if she waited any longer she might have had a very bad ending. She had an internal infection that doctor’s still don’t know where it stemmed from. She had an emergency laminectomy to treat an epidural abscess. She had an infection on an area of the spinal cord. She has been in the ICU for a few days know and no word on when she’s coming home. This has brought on a lot of unexpected medical bills that no one could have been prepared for. It’s a long road to recovery and basically has to learn how to walk again. Unfortunately everything is out of pocket and with physical therapy afterwards, medical bills are very high. Not only medical bills, but my mom is a single mother who works full time to support my three younger brothers. Without work and not knowing when she will go back, these donations would also help take care of living expenses. We are asking for your prayers for a speedy recovery. I know the goal is very high but anything would help my mom tremendously. Thank you in advanced….. Update as of 10/30/2024, she is getting another surgery on her spine because they found more fluid buildup which has caused more infection, fevers, and her left leg to continue to go numb on and off. This surgery will result in her having metal rods permanently in her spine to levitate the pressure on the nerves in that area. Any wrong move during recovery can paralyze her.
