My name is Heather. I have been close friends with Linda for almost 20 years. She was like a second mother to me during my teenage years when all I knew was turmoil from my own mother.

I created this fundraiser to help bring Linda home. She is currently homeless in Northern California and is attempting to make her way back to her youngest son in Illinois. She is currently employed; however, due to the high expenses of living in California, she is unable to afford a place to reside on her own and has floated from home to home over the past year.

I am hoping to raise enough money for her to have a sizeable deposit for an apartment or house in Illinois with a bit of extra money for utilities, food, health & beauty products, clothing, etc.
