Support Linda's Fight for her Home

Hi my name is Linda, some may or may not know me or have met me but for those who don’t know me know this is not something I take lightly in asking. But I need help. I never imagined how much I would be stretched and challenged this week by his older children from his first marriage as well as his siblings. I won’t disclose that here as I have moved on and God will deal with them on His own will. They had their own family Celebration of Life for him in which me and our boys were not invited, the same as his Honor Walk. But I was informed right before and participated regardless of their efforts to keep me away. This is just some of what I have had to deal with so you can see how emotional I am in writing about this need. Relying on my sons is not an option, one is serving our country as a marine the other is a lineman working long hours.

David was declared brain dead this week due to both massive and continued strokes on his cerebrum as well as a blood clot on his brain stem, this has also happened January. Those that knew him know his loss is great and is being felt deep for me.

David was a Godly man and knew the Lord, so I know where is is today without a doubt. He handle all the bills and provided for us to the point that this week I have had to locate everything for access. During this time I have discovered and came to the conclusion his life insurance was not enough to pay off the bills especially our home, his sewing room, truck (that I will need for others to drive to town for me since we live in the country), camper ( I could rent this out for income), and other smaller things such as our lawn tractor. In a perfect world these would be paid off, but we don’t live in a perfect world.

We bought our home about 4 years ago for 100,000 and moved onto my family land which we have built and created our last home as we have moved around quite a bit in our marriage. My goal is to stay in this home for the rest of my years that I have left and pay off what I need to live here and that is where your help
comes in. I a 50 year old mobile that we have been using as storage and slowly repairing it from the last renter who flooded it, which i haven’t done much to it due to a limited income with disability. I would be doing most of the work myself which I hadn’t planned to do which would be replacing floors, drywall, etc. This I had not planned to do this soon at 61 with my disability Iess. Working is not an option as I can no longer drive due to an eye disease called MacTel and the physical limitations I have due to neuropathy damage in my feet and hands.

So you can see why I am reaching out to see if the Lord will put it on your heart to help me stay in my home. If He does, I pray for a seven fold return to your finances and I thank you from the very deepest of my heart.

Thank you
