Hello, my name is Linda Rodriguez! I’m 39 years old and have 5 children from 2nd grade to a senior in Stockton college. Two days before my son’s surgery to remove his tumor, (he has an optic glioma & had surgery where they removed 95% of his tumor… He did chemo for 2 years & it did not work), I was diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer. After 2 years at my job, I had to leave in order to care for my son & myself. My kids lost their father 8 years ago so it’s just mama and her cubs!!!

I was told I have less than 30 days to move & time isn’t on my side. I cannot think of going into treatment or surgery without making sure my babies have a home & are comfortable. They will be my caretakers while I go through chemo, radiation & surgery. We have overcome so many obstacles but together. I cannot even think of being separated or apart from them. They are my ribs, my heart, my everything. I’m just a single mother trying to make a way…. I’m not willing to sell my soul, drugs or do anything illegal to make it happen so I’m asking for help.

My pride has always been big but never too big to make sure my babies are good. I need help & I can’t be ashamed to ask for help. This money is to move into an apartment ASAP before I start chemo and have my surgery. I appreciate anything & anyone’s help. God bless … & please keep us in prayer.
