Support Linda Jones Stroke Recovery & Heart Surgery

Please help support my Aunt Linda and her family.

On September 28th, we got a scary call from my Uncle Dj that my Aunt Linda had a stroke that morning. He said she was currently in surgery to remove the clot in her brain.

That morning she had woken up with a terrible headache and physically couldn’t move to get out of bed. Luckily she could still speak and that her little hero Jayden was with her to run and get help. She was taken via ambulance to stay in the ICU and her surgery successfully removed the clot. Still, she wasn’t able to walk or move one side of her body. She’ll be predicted to be out of work for 6 weeks.

My Aunt Linda has been so strong both physically and mentally through this. I know the thought of her little Jayden and her family has kept her going to get stronger every day. We can happily say she walked out of the stroke rehabilitation facility to be back with her family today.

However when she was in the hospital they found that the cause of her stroke was due to a hole in her heart. They explained that it could’ve been due to a congenital heart defect that wasn’t found until now. She has a heart surgery scheduled in the coming month to hopefully correct that and prevent any future strokes. We’re hoping for a another success for her to get back to full health again.

As some of you might know, this unfortunately wasn’t the first tragic incident that has occurred to my Aunt’s family. I had also shared a few years back that they had recently lost their grandmother’s family home due to a fire and lost all their belongings. Through all of this hardship they’ve always remained hopeful with good Christian faith that things will be okay.

Im hoping to share this and help support them in their time of need again. Anything helps, by either sharing this or contributing funds towards her medical expenses.
