Hello, I hope this message finds you well! My mother, Linda Holloman, recently (July 14, 2025), had a severe accident at her home. She fell down her stairs and broke her neck in 3 spots. She is having surgery this morning (July 15, 2025) to have her 5th, 6th, and 7th vertebrae fused together. Mom is 69 years old, on social security and Medicare. She will inevitably have costly medical bills and months of physical therapy. We are not sure what this will mean regarding her ability to continue living as an independent young lady, at home, and by herself in the future.

Mom has spent the majority of her recent years volunteering at church and for the needy. She loved going to downtown Cincinnati and Kansas City to feed and help the homeless (which, to be honest, I was not a big fan of because I feared for her safety at times). But none the less, she continued to do so! She has also spent the last few years volunteering at an art galleria in Olathe, Kansas, where she cleans and hosts openings. She has become a great artist herself and has art hanging at the gallery and at restaurants around town.

I know times are tough for everyone and money is tight, but if you have the ability to help her with some of her medical expenses and to get her back on her feet, living an active lifestyle, it would be immensely appreciated.

If you are not able to assist financially, prayers are definitely accepted as well. My family and I thank you for your support and prayers in this difficult time. I will do my best to keep everyone updated with her progress.
