On April 7th, 2026, 80-year-old community pilar Linda Hight was scammed out of her life savings. Always one to support those around her, Linda Hight had taken in a family friend and her daughter, as their family had fallen upon hard times.

Unfortunately, an associate of one of these guests stole hundreds of thousands of dollars from her, promising to remodel her home. He then fled, taking all of Linda's savings with her. That man has since been arrested, but there is no way for Linda to recoup what she has lost. The funds raised here will be used for a lawyer, and to pay for a new space to live, as she has lost her home.

Linda is a crucial member of her community, and has spent her life giving to those around her. After teaching high school for 7 years, brightening the lives of each of her students, Linda attended Touro Infirmary School of Nursing. She spent the next 33 years serving as an ICU nurse, providing the highest level of care for the members of her community most in need. She has survived multiple bouts of cancer, and has spent her entire life beating the odds to give back to her community. Now, it is our turn to give back to this woman who has given us so much.
