Linda Colby, my grandmother, has always been a source of kindness and support for our family and her community. Just a few days before Christmas, she suffered a serious fall and broke her femur. This injury required surgery and a lengthy stay in rehab so she can recover and regain her strength. Unfortunately, this has also brought a wave of unexpected medical bills that are difficult for her to manage on her own.
