Hi, my name is Angie. I'm starting this fundraiser to help my cousin Linda and her husband Eli pay for medical and life expenses as Linda starts radiation this week. She has been battling cancer for more than 7 months and could use some prayers and financial support as she continues to fight.

Her story...

On June 19, 2023 (2 days after her birthday) Linda went to the emergency room with severe abdominal pain thinking she had pancreatitis, but after CT and MRI were performed she was told that she has Pancreatic adenocarcinoma / 2B in other words pancreatic cancer / Stage 2. The tumor was found in the center of the pancreas with an encasement of blood vessels, sitting on a splenic vein as well as the celiac artery, which is a main artery to your heart which makes for a dangerous situation and also Inoperable at this time. Since the diagnosis, she has been through 8 rounds of aggressive Chemo/Folfirnox3 and unfortunately the tumor has not shrank enough, which mean it is still inoperable. Additionally, it has now affected her lymph nodes which now puts her at Stage 3B.

Linda's next step is Radiation/Chemo treatments which start Monday, February 5th. This will be 5 days a week for the next 3 months... at that time doctors will recheck the tumor to see if it is operable.

Linda and her family ask that everyone please pray for the radiation to be successful in shrinking the tumor enough so that it is operable. I ask that you also pray that this family will be blessed financially so that they will not want for anything they need during this time.
