Support Linda and Larry from Crocs
Donation protected
Linda and Larry, the beloved Croc leaders, are in severe need. Last month, Linda fell while moving into a downsized home for their retirement. On Wednesday of this week, they turned the heat on for the first time only to find the furnace that had passed the sale inspection did not work. On Thursday, Larry suffered a stroke, most probably related to the stress related to an expense they could not afford. Larry lost most of the function on his left side and his stability; thankfully, his cognition and spirits are intact. He will need extensive PT and in-home care; Linda will need to be out of the classroom to care for him.
Larry is a Native American Veteran of the Army that served in Vietnam. He joined Linda in the classroom after retiring from 30 years as a forklift operator when she needed help. Now they need our help.
1. Replacing the 29 year old furnace in their mobile home
2. Covering medical bills
3. Providing for daily expenses while Larry recovers and Linda needs to take care of him
4. Installation of a ramp
In addition to cash donations, those willing to help provide meals or transportation will be greatly appreciated. Check back here for a Meal Train link shortly.
