Dear Community,

We are writing to share heartbreaking news about Lincoln, beloved son of Carrie and Scott. On December 5th, Lincoln was involved in a tragic industrial accident that has left him with devastating injuries. At approximately 5:45 AM, he was pulled into a piece of machinery at work, resulting in significant damage to his jaw, neck, shoulders, arms, and severe crushing injuries to his chest and vital organs, including his liver, spleen, and pancreas. He also suffered critical injuries to his legs and lumbar spine.

Currently, Lincoln is fighting for his life in the Surgical Intensive Care Unit at Mass General. He is intubated and in a medically induced coma, facing numerous surgeries in the days ahead. The situation is extremely critical, and his family is understandably distressed.

Carrie and Scott will be off the grid for some time as they focus on their son's care and recovery. During this challenging period, we invite you to come together to support them. Your contributions will help with medical expenses, rehabilitation, and any other costs they may encounter as they navigate this journey.

We ask for your thoughts and prayers for Lincoln, as well as for the skilled medical team working tirelessly to save his life. Carrie and Scott are grateful for the outpouring of love and support from all of you. Although they may not be able to respond to messages immediately, please know that your words and care mean so much to them.
