Hi, many of you know me, but I'm Lily. I'm a trans woman trying to raise some funds to cover rent and other expenses while I'm recovering from bottom surgery in June.

I know that there's a lot of other trans women out there you could be donating to, but I figured I'd give it a shot. My surgery itself is going to be covered by my insurance, so I don't have any need there, but I have a job that is almost entirely lifting and moving and doing things I can't be doing in surgical recovery.

My wonderful partner Danielle has a job that can cover some of these expenses, but I don't want to put really any more burden on her than I have to.

I'm asking for 6000 dollars because it will cover 3 months of rent while I'm recovering, plus having some leftover for food and other expenses that may arise, but I'm starting low just to get anything at all.

I just ask that during these hard times for trans people that you maybe help someone in need and I hope that person can be me.
