Hi, my name is Lily Hernandez-Turk, and I’m a second-year cadet with Station 63.
This spring, I have a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to travel with my fellow cadets to Washington, D.C. and New York City. We’ll visit landmarks like the Statue of Liberty, Arlington National Cemetery, and the Smithsonian Museums, as well as spend time at fire stations, learning firsthand from the brave souls who served during 9/11. Their stories and courage continue to inspire the fire service today, and I hope to bring those lessons back to my station and community.
I live with my single mom, a substitute paraeducator who works so hard to support our family. She’s always encouraged me to chase my dreams and give back, and this trip is a big step toward that.
Your support will help cover flights, lodging, transportation, meals, and entry fees. Any donation means so much to me and my family, thank you for helping make this dream possible
