Support for Lily Rose and Richard in Loving Memory of Kristin Mattiske-Nicholls

Our community is heartbroken by the sudden passing of Kristin Mattiske-Nicholls, beloved mother to Lily Rose and cherished member of the Harmony Union School community.

This fundraiser is organized by the families of Lily Rose’s TK class at Harmony Union School, with love and support from Richard’s broader community, including those who know him through his dedicated work as a swim coach.

Meals and chore coordination are already underway through a separate effort by close family friends.

All funds raised here will directly support Kristin’s family through this difficult transition by helping with:

In addition, the TK families are hoping to create a summer garden in Richard and Lily Rose’s backyard - a peaceful, nurturing space for them to plant, reflect, and spend gentle moments together. This garden will be a loving, community-driven effort to offer something healing and enduring. If the fundraiser allows, a portion of the funds will go toward soil, gopher wire, irrigation, and established plants to help create this comforting environment.

This fundraiser is managed by Miroslav Wiesner (a Harmony Union parent) and Allie Johnston (a Harmony Union TK Teacher) , who will work closely with Richard to ensure every dollar supports the family’s immediate and long-term needs.
