Our hearts are with Lily Robbins, who means so much to all of us. Since the day we opened our doors, Lily has been at the center of this restaurant family — showing up every single day with strength, kindness, intelligence, humor, and a work ethic that inspires everyone around her. So much of the warmth, care, and sense of community people feel when they walk into Mosaic exists because of her. She is the heart of this space.

She has served our community not only here, but also as an EMT — showing up for people on some of their hardest days with compassion, courage, and grace. She gives so much of herself to others, often with a joke ready at exactly the right moment. Her sense of humor can cut through even the hardest day, and anyone who knows her knows how much light she brings into every room she enters.

Right now, she needs her community behind her. She was injured while serving as a first responder at the Robbins Lumber mill explosion on May 15th. She is in critical condition but is stable, and receiving care at MCH in Boston along with her Father and Uncle.

We are raising funds to help support Lily as she recovers from her injuries — helping ease the burden of medical expenses, lost income, and the long road ahead. If you know her, you already know how much love she has poured into this community. If you’ve ever been welcomed, cared for, laughed with, or supported by her, this is a chance to give some of that love back.

We also want Mosaic to be a place where people can show up for her in every way possible. We’ll be collecting letters, cards, jokes, drawings, little gifts, stories, and messages for anyone who wants to send her some love and help keep her spirits up during recovery.
