My name is Lily Gimenez. I was recently one of fifty students accepted into Joshua Wilderness Institute. This is a 9-month discipleship program located in the Sequoia National Forest at Hume Lake Christian Camps. It disciples young adults towards loving God and His Word in order to set a foundation for a life worthy of the gospel. I will be taking Bible classes, learning from various speakers, going on different trips, participating in small groups and book studies, working in all the different departments of camp and more! The price includes all of my classes with Biola University, room and board, food, travel, and trips. Two of the bigger trips are to the Dominican Republic and Turkey!

I have been praying for next steps and guidance. He had a greater plan for my life than I could even imagine and this is just the beginning. This has required a giant leap of faith on my part, but I know He provides all that is needed and more. I will be leaving the first week of September and I can’t wait to see how the Lord continues to grow and lead me.
